People Who impacted World War 2
These are the four people who really impacted the war:
General Hideki Tojo
One of the most influential leaders in the war was Japanese Prime Minister General Hideki Tojo. He influenced the war in the years of October 1941 to July of 1944. He was also an aggressive army General and became minister of war in July of 1941. This was shortly after he tried to improve Japan's relations with the U.S. and failed. He was the one who ordered to go to war and the attack of Pearl Harbor. He later resigned from his position when he realized that Japan was going to lose the war. When the war had come t an end Tojo was executed for his responsibility to Japan's war crimes.
Adolf Hitlar
The most important ruler/leader in Germany during World War 2 was Hitlar. Hitlar believed that Germany could build a great civilization. He also thought that Germany needed more land in the East in the Soviet Union and so he prepared for war. His plan was to settle the land with the Germans and enslave the Slavic people. In 1935 he created a new Air force and began a military draft. Most European countries opposed Hitlar's actions, but were too wrapped up in their own economic woes to take any action against him. In March 1936 Hitlar sent troops to the Rhineland in the demilitarization zone, France was unable to oppose Germany without Britain's support . Hitlar allied with Mussolini, this was brought to the people's attention when Mussolini invaded Ethiopia with the support of German troops. On September 1, 1939, German invaded Poland.

Harry S. Truman
Harry S. Truman took over office when Franklin D. Roosvelt died, and he became the 33rd president of the United States in April of 1945. He was vice president when the Japanese attacked Peal Harbor and we became involved in World War 2. Harry S. Truman was the man who decided that dropping Atomic Bombs on Japanese cities was a necessary thing. And so the first Atomic Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th in 1995. And three days later the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. This resulted in the Japanese surrendering on August 14th 1945. Thus World War 2 was ended by Harry S. Truman.
